Charles A. Williams

Charles A. Williams, 87, of Fillmore, passed away Monday, Oct. 9, 2017 at home surrounded by family.

He was born June 19, 1930 to the late Oran and Ruby (Cox) Williams.

Charles married Mary Fidler on July 2, 1950, and she survives.

Charles honorably served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

He is also survived by his son, Paul Williams and wife Jami; daughter Sara Burnett and husband Steve; grandchildren Brian Williams, Chelsea Williams, Steven Burnett, Cory Burnett and April Becher; great-grandchildren Gavin, Hudson, Cohen, Haili and Mallori; brothers Harry Williams, Robert Williams and Larry Williams; and sisters Barbara Eldridge and Marilyn Purciful.

Funeral services for Charles will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 13 at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 12 at the funeral home and from 11 a.m. until service time on Friday.
