Humane Donations

Tuesday, October 17, 2017

In an ongoing effort to support animal control in the county, Heritage Lake Property Manager Ken Rozelle (left) presents Humane Society of Putnam County President Sandy Grimes and Sheriff Scott Stockton with a donation of $3,000 for use at the animal shelter. Rozelle said the Heritage Lake Board budgeted this donation as they have in years past in continuing to support the county’s animal control mission of public safety and animal care. Stockton and Grimes are hopeful these funds, as well as other donations, will be earmarked to purchase an internal cleaning system which will benefit the animals. So far this year Putnam County animal control officers have responded to more than 550 calls of service throughout the county.

  • Great work Heritage Lake! These animals are all God's creatures and we are their caretakers.
