GMS Holiday Bazaar set Nov. 4

The Greencastle Middle School PTO will host a Holiday Bazaar on Saturday, Nov. 4 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

More than 60 local vendors are expected to showcase their wares, providing an opportunity to buy local this holiday season.

Guests will find boutique-style clothing from vendors including LuLaRoe, Dot Dot Smile and Bear Threads, as well as embroidered items and handmade shirts, hair accessories, doll clothes, pot holders, scarves, bags and aprons from vendors such as Bags, Embroidery & More, JTB Creations and Tanglewood Quilted Bags.

Those in the market for home decor will find a wide variety of options, including handmade fine art prints and custom-order pet paintings from Alexandra Hirt Studio, custom and handmade Christmas ornaments by Mamaw’s Vinyl Creations, and handmade signs and wooden decor items from Hubbard’s Cupboard, Farm Charm and Nuthouse Woodworking. And metal art from Webb Repair & Fabrication will be available for purchase.

Not to be left out, the foodies will enjoy gifts from Pat’s Custom Cookies, Mama Amparitos Authentic Mexican Salsa, as well as Delta Theta Tau cheeseballs, and many other homemade goodies.

Student-run booths will help raise funds for a variety of clubs and organizations, including GMS FCA, GMS Publications Club, GMS Developmental Studies, and Boy Scouts Troop 99. Kids will have the opportunity to experience the Castlemakers’ STEM/STEAM education program during the bazaar. Cookies & Canvas sessions will be offered at 9:30 and 11 a.m. Preregistration is recommended.

Guests of all ages will enjoy a performance by the Putnam County Youth Choir at 10 a.m. in the cafeteria.

Also in the cafeteria, breakfast, lunch and snacks will be available for purchase with all proceeds benefiting the GHS Junior Prom Committee.
