Thomas Crafton

Thomas Crafton, 98, of Cloverdale, passed away Friday, Nov. 3, 2017.

He was born June 5, 1919 in Shelby County, Ind., to the late Frank and Jessy (Kenney) Crafton.

He married Dorris O. Crafton Aug. 1, 1941 and she preceded him in death.

Tom retired from Lilly's as a machinist, and was a farmer raising horses.

He is survived by his son, Thomas M. Crafton, and daughter Janet Lybrand; six grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great grandchildren, and siblings Carol Crafton and Ronney Crafton.

He is also preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Joann Eck.

Services for Tom will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 10 at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time.

Burial will follow at New Providence Cemetery.
