The coaches: Jarrod Duff is in his second year at North Putnam with a record of 2-23. Kevin Rounds is in his second year at Monrovia with a record of 10-15.

So far: North Putnam won its opener 28-26 over North Vermillion on Saturday, and lost 39-36 to Crawfordsville on Tuesday.

Monrovia won its opener 56-52 at Park Tudor and lost 66-62 at Greenwood Christian on Monday night.

The history: Monrovia won 62-37 at Bainbraidge last year, and has won 14 of the last 17 meetings between the teams.

Key players: North Putnam is led in scoring by Kinzey Young, Baylee Osburn and Clarissa Gibson — each averaging 6.5 points per game.

Makayla Swafford leads Monrovia in scoring at 21.5 pointsn per game, and gets double-figure support from Madison Payne at 11.0. Ally Grimes leads the Bulldogs in rebounding at 7.0 per game.
