Wednesday, November 8, 2017

On the heels of an October event featuring two members of the Greencastle City Council, the next Community Conversation will feature a Putnam County commissioner.

Rick Woodall

Second District Commissioner Rick Woodall will be on hand to answer citizens’ questions about the workings of county government at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 14 at the Putnam County Public Library.

Woodall was elected commissioner in 2014 and currently serves as vice president of the three-member board. In nearly three years as commissioner, Woodall has taken the lead on thorny issues such as county employee health insurance and the future of emergency medical service in Putnam County.

Woodall, along with his wife Rhonda, are the owners of S&W Feed Center, Red Barn Farms and Harvest by Red Barn Farms.

The Community Conversation series is sponsored by the Greencastle League of Women Voters, the Putnam County Public Library and the Greater Greencastle Chamber of Commerce.

The goal of this new continuing program is to give the community an opportunity to hear from and speak to their elected and appointed government officials.
