Thursday, November 30, 2017

COATESVILLE -- Hope Haven Horse Farm on U.S. 40, Putnam County’s first riding therapy horse farm, has rebranded to the Lakeland Center for Therapeutic Riding Research.

The nonprofit announced the name change at a recent launch party where the organization announced its new focus and promised continued care to those in need.

Since 2000, the organization has provided therapeutic riding lessons to those with physical and cognitive diagnosis in the surrounding area.

In recent years, the organization has experienced fast client improvements by incorporating RHCP equipment such as a Therapeutic Horseback Riding Simulator or Happy Hands Rein Sensor Machine into its lessons. These new technologies have encouraged the organization to focus on research and development of riding therapies.

To mark this achievement and growth of the organization, Hope Haven has rebranded into the Lakeland Center for Therapeutic Riding Research.

Hope Haven’s new website is www.lakelandctr.org. Persons can visit the website to learn more about the Lakeland Center for Therapeutic Riding Research and its commitment to improving the lives of people with physical and cognitive needs.
