County Jail

Eight people were booked in the Putnam County Jail on Thursday.

• At 8:09 p.m. Brandon Lee Rabe, 29, Plainfield, was lodged at the jail for possession of methamphetamine, unlawful possession of a syringe and possession of paraphernalia with a prior conviction.

• At 8:08 p.m. Deric Lee Coffman, 23, Greencastle, was taken into custody on a Hamilton County warrant.

• At 4:13 p.m. Ashton William McDowell, 19, Chicago, was booked in for dealing in marijuana.

• At 4:01 p.m. Jaron Malik Shannon, 18, Kankakee, Ill., was lodged at the jail for possession of marijuana.

• At 1:41 p.m. Quinton Devon Newsom, 26, Indianapolis, was taken into custody for probation violation.

• At 8:33 a.m. William Anthony Holland, 36, Stilesville, was housed at the jail on a local warrant and a writ of body attachment.

• At 1:24 a.m. Martin Wayne Mishler, 60, Greencastle, was booked in for driving while intoxicated.

• At 12:52 a.m. Benjamin George Everett Chaney, 23, Poland, was lodged at the jail for driving while intoxicated.

City Police

One recent arrest was reported by Greencastle City Police officers.

• At 6:45 p.m. Thursday, Austin Ray Chadd, 23, Greencastle, was arrested by GPD Officer Darrel Bunten.

Arrested at Castlebury Apartments, Chadd was lodged in the Putnam County Jail on a Clay County warrant for petition to revoke probation on an original charge of theft.
