County Jail

Three people were booked in the Putnam County Jail on Thursday.

• At 10:10 p.m. Erica Ann Dickson, 27, Greencastle, was lodged at the jail on an out-of-county warrant.

• At 9:18 p.m. Tiara Nicole Brown, 21, Greencastle, was taken into custody on an out-of-county warrant.

• At 1:46 p.m. Timothy Ray Luttrell, 48, Indianapolis, was booked in on a local warrant.

Sheriff’s Department

Putnam County sheriff’s deputies investigated three recent property-damage crashes.

• At 5 a.m. on Friday, Joseph A. Horner, 28, Brazil, was eastbound on U.S. 40 in a 2006 Mack LE Series garbage truck registered to Wallace Brothers of Seelyville. Horner was stopped, picking up garbage at 5978 W. U.S. 40.

Mark A. Sanderson, 65, Terre Haute, was eastbound at a high rate of speed in a 2004 Mitsubishi Gallant. The car made rear-end impact with the garbage truck.

Sanderson told Deputy Jacob Harrington he may have fallen asleep on his way to work. He was transported to Terre Haute Regional Hospital for his injuries.

The vehicle was towed. Damage was estimated at $10,001-$25,000.

Harrington was assisted at the scene by Deputy Scott Ducker.

• At 5:53 p.m. on Thursday, Patrick A. Snyder, 37, Brownsburg, was westbound on U.S. 40 in a 2011 Dodge Dakota when he hit a deer.

Deputy Robert Soilleux estimated damage at $2,501-$5,000.

• At 1:43 p.m. on Thursday, Elizabeth E. Farris, 41, Poland, was westbound on State Road 42 in a 2003 Pontiac Montana.

The left front wheel came off the vehicle and hit a parked, unoccupied 2005 Mazda 6 registered to Mark Patterson of Cloverdale.

Farris’ vehicle was towed. Deputy Brian Helmer was estimated at $5,001-$10,000.
