Good Citizens

Monday, December 11, 2017
Greencastle High School Character Education Program winners for November are Seth Nichols (second from left) and Jaylyn Duff, both leaders in athletics and in the classroom. November’s trait was citizenship, for which there were 16 candidates as nominated by GHS teachers and staff. Presenting Nichols and Duff with $25 checks for showing the rest of the student body -- through their words and actions -- what it means to be good citizens of GHS are Character Education Program co-sponsor Lisa Duggan (left) and GHS Assistant Principal Jennifer Finnerty. The $25 monthly award is funded by Balfour, which provides graduation items, including caps and gowns, to GHS.
