Lonzie "L.C." Clarence Lawhorn Jr. 73, Bainbridge, passed away Friday, Dec. 15, 2017 at his residence.

He was born on Feb. 8, 1944 in Liberty, Ky., to the late Lonzie and Minnie Bell (Sharp) Lawhorn.

On June 4, 1983 he married Barbara Ann (Beaman) Parrish. She survives.

L.C. worked for 32 years at Rexnord Link Belt. He also farmed most of his life. He loved being outdoors, and spending time with his grandkids and great-grandkids.

He belonged to Bainbridge Saddle Club, where he served as president for more than 50 years. He also enjoyed being around horses, and time with his best buddy, Patch, his dog, who was always by his side.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Lawhorn, Bainbridge; sons Lonnie Lawhorn, Greencastle, David (Donna) Lawhorn, Crawfordsville, Kevin Lawhorn, Louisville, Tom (Corinna) Parrish, Mace, Ind., Scott (Julie) Parrish, Spencer, and Matt (Kristie) Parrish, Roachdale; 22 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brothers James (Pat) Lawhorn, Plymouth, Rod Lawhorn, Clinton, and Charles (Sharon) Lawhorn, Marshall, and sister Helen (J.B.) Sims, Clinton.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister Jane Dowdy.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 19 at Machledt & Servies Funeral Home, 301 E. Green St., Waveland. Burial will follow in Hebron Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, Dec. 19 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the funeral home.
