Exhibiting honesty, Greencastle High School students John Brook (second from left) and Jordan Meyer are the Character Education Program winners for December at GHS. Brook and Meyer were among 16 candidates nominated for the monthly honor by GHS teachers and staff. Presenting them with $25 checks for showing the rest of the student body -- through their words and actions -- what it means to be honest citizens of GHS are Character Education Program co-sponsor Lisa Duggan (left) and GHS Assistant Principal Jennifer Finnerty. The $25 monthly award is funded by Balfour, which provides graduation items, including caps and gowns, to GHS.
