Where Steepletops Glisten

Banner Graphic/ERIC BERNSEE It’s amazing the perspective an inch of snow and the right lighting can produce as the steeple atop St. Paul’s Catholic Church on Washington Street looms over the top of a snow-covered pile of riprap rock along the Franklin Street side of a downtown parking lot. Although there were predictions for more, the inch of snow Saturday brought a white Christmas to Putnam County for the first time since 2013.
