Robert A. 'Bud' Thomas

Robert A. "Bud" Thomas, 53, of Bainbridge, passed away Sunday, Dec. 31, 2017 in St. Vincent Hospital.

Born Oct. 6, 1964 in Danville, he was the son of Allen Bryant and Carol Mae Shull Thomas.

He married Connie S. Poynter on May 4, 1985 in Greencastle.

Bud was an auto mechanic and had worked at Cadwell's Corner and previously at Hawley and Larmer, both in Danville.

He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Greencastle.

Survivors include his wife, Connie Thomas of Bainbridge; daughters, Sarah (John) Pinson, Rebekah Thomas, both of Kokomo; mother, Carol Thomas; brother, Richard Thomas; and Aunt Mickey Thomas, all of Danville.

His father, brother, Ronnie Thomas, and grandparents, Robert and Lillian Shull, preceded him in death.

Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 9 at Baker Funeral Home, Danville, with burial to follow in the Bainbridge Cemetery.

Calling will be from 5-7 p.m. on Monday, Jan.8 at the funeral home with a masonic service to begin at 6:45 p.m.
