Larry N. Anderson

Larry N. Anderson, 67, passed away peacefully at his Greencastle home this past New Year's Day following a brave fight with esophageal cancer.

He spent his final days surrounded by his family.

Born in Moss, Tenn., Larry was a hard-working family man. He loved to tinker with classic cars and preferred the simpler side of life.

Survivors include his wife of more than 51 years, Carolyn; two sons, Larry Jr., (wife Kim), Tony, (wife Stacie); a sister, Judy (husband David); two brothers, Billy (wife-Leah), and Bobby (wife Tina); five grandchildren, Cody, Gaige, Leah, Jesse and Kaitlyn; one great-grandchild, Sophia; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Roger; and a sister, Sue.

Larry was a gentle soul whose absence will be felt by all who knew him.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 13 at Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home, Greencastle.
