Tigers rejoin top 10 rankings

DePauw’s women’s basketball team is back in familiar surroundings, notably the d3hoops.com top 10 rankings.

Kris Huffman’s Tigers have now won 10 straight games, and stand 14-1 overall and 6-0 in North Coast Athletic Conference play.

The Tigers moved up from No. 13 to No. 9 this week, marking their 101st appearance (281 total polls) in top 10 since rankings started in 1999-2000.

Amherst is ranked first in the poll, followed by fellow unbeaten teams in Wartburg, Hope and Bowdoin.

Thomas More is fifth, followed by Whitman, Rochester and Tufts. Ohio Northern. Ohio Northern rounds out the top 10.

No other NCAC teams are ranked in the top 25 or are receiving votes.

DePauw returns to action tonight with an 8 p.m. NCAC game at Denison.
