Robert Dale Pruett

Robert Dale Pruett, 83, of Indianapolis, passed away Jan. 18, 2018.

He was born Oct. 7, 1934 in New Castle, Ind., to the late Jasper and Carrie B. Pruett.

Robert was a 1953 graduate of New Castle High School. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and attended Ball State University. Robert was employed in Quality Control for Delco-Remy for 30 years, retiring in 1986. He was a member of Little Flower Catholic Church.

Visitation will be Monday, Jan. 22, 2018 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel, 9606 E. Washington St., Indianapolis. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Little Flower Catholic Church, 4720 E. 13th St.

Robert is survived by his brother, Richard H. Pruett of Stilesville; nieces, Rita Luanne Reitzel (Aaron) of Clayton and Jennifer Lynn Beltz (Jeffrey) of Indianapolis; nephew, Christopher H. Pruett (Debbie) of Linton; and six great-nieces and great-nephews. Robert’s wife, Sandy Pruett, preceded him in death.
