Barbara J. Garrard

Barbara J. Garrard, 91, of Danville, formerly of Sullivan, passed away on Friday, Jan. 19, 2018 at Danville Regional Rehab.

She was born on May 19, 1926 in Merom, the daughter of Charles O. and Esther Mae (Noll) Prose.

Barbara was a dietary aide at Mary Sherman Hospital. She was a member of the Merom United Methodist Church.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald Garrard and three sons, James D. Stevens, Jack L. Stevens and Don Mike Garrard.

Survivors include two sons, Joe (Marcia) Stevens of Cloverdale and Jon Hoke of Kissimmee, Fla.; daughter Tammy (Hank) Owens; 11 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 24 at Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan. Interment will follow at Merom Cemetery in Merom.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 24 at Brust Funeral Home.
