WIC boys' crossover matchups finally determined

Following Tuesday's 72-42 win over Cascade by Cloverdale, the Western Indiana Conference boys' basketball crossover matchups were finally established.

The games will be played on Friday, with a junior varsity game at 6 p.m. followed by the varsity contest at approximately 7:30 p.m.

Sullivan won the West Division title with a 5-0 record, while Edgewood, Indian Creek and Cloverdale tied for the East Division title at 4-1.

Edgewood was determined as the top seed through a tiebreaker process involving defensive points allowed among the three tied teams, and will play at Sullivan for the league championship.

Indian Creek finished second in the tiebreaker and will play at Greencastle, while Cloverdale was third and will play at Northview.

Cascade finished fourth with its loss, and will play at North Putnam. Owen Valley will play at South Putnam and Brown County will play at West Vigo.
