CRAWFORDSVILLE SECTIONAL

Greencastle (14-8) vs. Lebanon (9-13)

Tipoff: 6 p.m. at Crawfordsville

The coaches: Bradley Key is in his ninth year at Greencastle. Beth DeVinney is in her sixth year at Lebanon.

Season recap: Both teams closed out the regular season by winning four of their final five games.

Per-game averages: Offense — Greencastle 46.3, Lebanon 46.1. Defense — Greencastle 42.6, Lebanon 49.1.

Opponents’ records: Greencastle 259-232, Lebanon 222-252.

History: Lebanon won 59-40 in the 2016 sectional, and has won the last three meetings.

Last sectional title: Greencastle 2013, Lebanon 2017.

Key players: Tori Harker (5-8 senior) leads Lebanon in scoring at 15.6 and is the only Tiger in double figures. Rose White leads the Cubs in scoring (10.5) and rebounding (8.2), while Jalyn Duff adds 10.2 points per game.


CASCADE SECTIONAL

North Putnam (8-14) at Cascade (10-12)

Tipoff: 7:30 p.m.

The coaches: Jarrod Duff is in his second year at North Putnam. David Carpenter is in his third year at Cascade.

Season recap: The Cougars ended the season on a two-game winning streak, while Cascade lost three of its last four games.

Per-game averages: Offense — NP 30.1, Cascade 51.6. Defense — NP 41.6, Cascade 52.6.

Opponents’ records: NP 213-274, Cascade 306-186.

History: Cascade won 63-42 on Nov. 14, 2015, and has won 11 of the last 15 meetings.

Last sectional title: North Putnam 2003, Cascade 2007.

Key players: Sophomore Hannah Sims leads North Putnam with 7.4 points per game, while Baylee Osburn leads in rebounding at 4.5. Senior Olivia Bryant leads Cascade in scoring at 16.2 points per game, while senior Hannah Rasnake adds 13.1.

Cloverdale (17-5) vs. Western Boone (10-12)

Tipoff: 7:30 p.m. at Cascade

The coaches: Matthew Langdon is in his seventh year at Cloverdale. Megan Alexander is in her first year at WeBo.

Season recap: Cloverdale finished the regular season winning four of its last five, setting a school record for single-season victories. WeBo won its final two games.

Per-game averages: Offense — Cloverdale 56.9, WeBo 50.3. Defense — Cloverdale 40.3, WeBo 51.0.

Opponents’ records: Cloverdale 230-266, WeBo 270-214.

History: The teams have not played in the past 15 years.

Last sectional title: Cloverdale has never won a sectional. Western Boone, 2014.

Key players: Cloverdale is led in scoring (14.1) and rebounding (12.6) by junior Tori Combs. Junior Madison Jones is the state’s seventh-leading scorer at 23.0 ppg.
