Suzanne 'Susie' Tzouanakis

Suzanne "Susie" Tzouanakis, 87, of Greencastle, passed away on Monday, Jan. 29, 2018.

Born Jan. 17, 1931 in Greencastle, she was the daughter of Glen and Alta Mae (Plummer) Rowland.

She was a 1949 graduate of Greencastle High School.

Susie was a homemaker and worked at First Citizens Bank.

She was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church and its Ladies Guild.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Tzouanakis; children Michael A. Tzouanakis II, Stephanie (Scott) Gardner and John E. (Lisa) Tzouanakis; four grandchildren, Lindsay Gardner, Will Gardner, Bailey Szubinski and Taylor Tzouanakis; and one great-grandchild, Brody Szubinski.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Doris Crawford.

A Mass of Christian burial will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 2 at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church with interment to follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 1 at Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home, Greencastle.
