Memories at the Museum

Examining one of the photos decorating tables at Sunday’s latest Old Trail Dinner at the Putnam County Museum, Ron Jones, who washed dishes there as a teenager for 25 cents an hour, shares some of his “very good memories” of the noted one-time Putnamville eatery. The dinner, which features a meal made from the recipes and served family style as a fundraiser for the museum, was again sold out. But if you missed out on Old Trail Inn fried chicken and swiss steak, it won’t be long before you have another chance. The next museum dinner is scheduled for Sunday, April 15, beginning at 1 p.m.
