Gerald L. Roberts

Gerald L. Roberts, 75, formerly of Greencastle, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2018 at Cape Coral Hospital in Cape Coral, Fla.

Gerald was born on June 9, 1942, the son of Russell and Iva Roberts.

Mr. Roberts worked for Eagle Valley Construction for 52 years until his retirement.

He lived in Indiana until 2015 when he moved to Florida.

Jerry loved life and lived it to the fullest; he never knew a stranger.

Survivors include his wife Vicki; four children, Tim, Dawn, Tammy and Troy; nine grandchildren, Alyssa, Michael, James, Randy, Candice, Makaley, Shelbi, Emma and Gary; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Buddy and Larry; and a sister, Roberta.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Roanne and Patty.

Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 7 at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home, Greencastle.

Burial will follow in Clinton Falls Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 6 or one hour prior to time of service on Wednesday.
