Moore finalist for Gatorade Indiana "Player of the Year"

Cloverdale senior Jalen Moore has been named a finalist for the Gatorade Basketball Player of the Year Award in Indiana.

Moore is the state's leading scorer at 38.3 points per game, with a high game of 53 points against Greencastle earlier this year.

He has helped the Clovers to three consecutive sectional titles and two straight Putnam County titles.

Moore is currently the 33rd leading scorer in Indiana boys' basketball history with 2,100 career points.

Gatorade has honored athletes from each state for more than 40 years. In addition to athletic excellence, the Gatorade Award recognizes academic achievement and exemplary character.
