Margaret Fern Travis

Margaret Fern Travis, 91 of Cloverdale, went to be with the Lord, Friday, Feb. 16, 2018.

Born Aug. 4, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Shirley and Mary (Akins) Dorsett.

Fern married Joseph Travis, and he preceded her in death Dec. 16, 1983.

Fern is survived by her nephew, Rocco Carlisle, and sister-in-law Norma "Biddy" Dorsett.

She is also preceded in death by her sisters, Ruby Sichting, Esta Foster, Dorothy Moake, Shirley Milhon, Colleen Lawrence, Rosalie Allen and Leo Clearwaters; brothers Wayne Dorsett, Raymond Dorsett, Donald Dorsett and Bobbie Dorsett.

Funeral services for Margaret will be Wednesday, Feb. 21 at 11 a.m. at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the service time Wednesday.

Burial will follow in Lincoln Memory Gardens, Zionsville.
