Carolyn Jean Priddy

Carolyn Jean Priddy, 74, of Roachdale, passed away Thursday, Feb. 22, 2018 at Franciscan Health in Crawfordsville.

She was born on July 17, 1943 to the late Herman and Helen (Lay) Hedge.

On Feb. 14, 1959 she married David Alexander. Then on Nov. 7, 1993, she married Curtis Priddy. They both preceded her in death.

Carolyn was a certified nursing assistant for 28 years.

She enjoyed knitting, cooking, quilting, making dolls for her grandchildren, going to church and singing, as well as going for a drive and spending time with her family.

She was a former member of Roachdale Church of the Nazarene, and a current member of Nylesville Gospel Fellowship.

She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Elliott, Ladoga; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; several step grandchildren; siblings Linda Rogers and Glenda Burdine; brother Carl Hedge; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, son David Alexander and grandparents Beulah and Fred Lay.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 27 at Servies and Morgan Funeral Home, 102 E. Washington St., Roachdale. Burial will follow at Roachdale Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family from 4-8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 26 at the funeral home.
