Bringing Home the Gold

Several Cloverdale students have brought home gold from the recent Indiana State School Music Association (ISSMA) State Solo and Ensemble Contest at North Central High School. Adam Stattner (second from left) received a gold rating for his marimba solo on “Water and Fire,” while Jimmy Tate, Jeremy Hess, Caitlynn Kendall and Parker Stevenson received a gold rating for their saxophone quartet’s performance of “Sailor’s Hornpipe.” From left: Parker Stevenson, Adam Stattner, Caitlynn Kendall, Jimmy Tate and Jeremy Hess.
