Edwin Evan Beck

Edwin Evan Beck, 54, of Greencastle, passed away Thursday, March 1, 2018, at his residence.

Edwin was born in Greencastle on Dec. 29, 1963, the son of Gerald and Lana (App) Beck.

He was a graduate of North Putnam High School. He also attended Lakeland Collage.

Mr. Beck was a truck driver for more than 30 years, and drove for Red Gold for the last eight years.

He was a 10-year member of 4-H and was FFA chapter president in high school.

Survivors include his wife, Susan Beck, Greencastle; three children, Ben Beck (fiancé McKenzie Kean), Greencastle, Carly Beck, Bainbridge, and Joslyn Beck, Crawfordsville; his father; two stepchildren, Staci Paquet (husband Mark), Center Point, and Samantha Myers (husband David), Monrovia; a sister, Beth Pinney (husband Mark), Greencastle; eight grandchildren and three nieces.

He was preceded in death by his mother and a brother, Mitch Beck.

A celebration of life will be held from 1-4 p.m. on Friday, March 9 at the Bainbridge Community Center.
