Commodore Charles 'Pete' Suddarth

Commodore Charles "Pete" Suddarth, 82, of Russellville, passed away Sunday, March 4, 2018.

He was born on Feb. 17, 1936 in Beech Grove, Ind., to the late Carl and Margaret (Farnsley) Suddarth.

Charles worked for the Ford Motor Co. in Indianapolis for 35 years as a machinist.

He enjoyed raccoon hunting, fishing and being outdoors.

He is survived by his five children, Belinda (Harvey) Stringer, Indianapolis, Grace (Rick) Lybarger, Danville, Charlene (Terry) Jones, Indianapolis, Pauline (Doug) Singley, Fairland, Ind., Susan (Gary) Albrecht, Louisville, Ky.; 15 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; sister Ann Siefert, Maplepark, Ill., three nephews; special friends and care givers Lisa and Chad Oliver.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Jerry Suddarth.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 7 with Pastor Scott Kallem officiating.

Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until time of service.
