Thursday, March 8, 2018

The Purdue Alumni Club of Putnam County will be collecting food at the Putnam County Ag Day, March 10 at the Putnam County Fairgrounds.

The club has collected food for the Putnam County Emegency Food Pantry for several years. For anyone who forgets to bring food, a cash donation will also work.

The Purdue Club of Putnam County’s main objective is to raise funds for scholarship for Putnam County students attending the Purdue West Lafayette campus. Presently the club has in excess of $82,000 endowed with the Putnam County Foundation.

The club has given scholarships to four students each year for several years.

In addition to scholarships the Purdue Club has service projects such as the food drive, programs of interest given locally, game watches and trips to campus.
