Four teams take court at McAnally for regional games Saturday
While the Cloverdale boys’ basketball team heads to Greenfield-Central Saturday for Class 2A regional action, there are still games to be played right here in Putnam County as Greencastle hosts the Class 3A regional.
In the 10 a.m. game, No. 7 Danville (20-4) will take on defending state champion and second-ranked Indianapolis Attucks (20-4).
Both teams were participants in last year’s Greencastle regional, with the Warriors losing to Tri-West in the early game before the Attucks topped Bruins in the nightcap.
Unranked Lebanon (11-15) will take on WIC champion and 16th-ranked Edgewood (22-5) at noon.
The championship game is set for 8 p.m. at McAnally Center.
