Legislative Update set Saturday morning at Farm Bureau office

Monday, March 12, 2018

The Legislative Update series, focusing on legislation considered during the 2018 session of the Indiana General Assembly, will have its third and final program of the year on Saturday, March 17.

The 8 a.m. session will also mark the Legislative Update farewell appearance of District 44 State Rep. Jim Baird (R-Greencastle), who is not seeking re-election to the Legislature and instead is a Republican candidate for the 4th District seat in the U.S. Congress currently held by Todd Rokita.

The program, open to the public, will be conducted in the board room of the Putnam County Farm Bureau office, 1001 N. Jackson St., Greencastle.

Also expected to attend is District 37 State Sen. Rodric Bray (R-Martinsville). However, at last month's session, District 24 State Sen. John Crane (R-Avon) said he had another commitment for this Saturday and would be unable to take part.

Cinnamon rolls and coffee will be provided.
