County Jail

Eight people were booked in the Putnam County Jail recently.

Friday

• At 10 a.m. Raymond Douglas Eaker, 23, Indianapolis, was lodged at the jail for possession of methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia.

Thursday

• At 11:50 p.m. Matthew Joseph Cole, 22, Cloverdale, was taken into custody on a local warrant.

• At 9:18 p.m. Robert Michael Noble, 46, Frankfort, was housed at the jail on a pair of local warrants.

• At 7:49 p.m. Summer Marie Evans, 38, Indianapolis, was booked in on a local warrant and an out-of-county warrant.

Wednesday

• At 5:08 p.m. Ryan Matthew Evens, 37, Greencastle, was lodged at the jail for driving with a BAC of .15 or more, driving while intoxicated and driving with a suspended license.

• At 4:04 p.m. Brittany Marie Means, 27, Sullivan, was taken into custody on a Putnam County warrant.

• At 12:50 p.m. Doons Nguyen, 53, Watertown, N.Y., was housed at the jail for dealing in methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine.

• At 11:12 a.m. Shawn Allen Todd, 38, Clayton, was booked in on a local warrant.

City Police

One citation was issued Thursday by Greencastle City Police officers.

• At 6:40 p.m. Lora Zoll, 50, Greencastle, was ticketed by Officer Luke Brown.

Stopped at Washington and Durham streets, Zoll was cited for having an expired license plate (Dec. 21, 2017).

Sheriff’s Department

Putnam County sheriff’s deputies investigated two recent property-damage crashes.

• At 11:15 a.m. on Wednesday, Sheila Y. Wright, 62, Cloverdale, was backing out of a parking spot at 309 Medic Way, Greencastle, in a 2007 Chrysler Town & Country.

As she did so, she backed into a parked 2006 Ford Explorer registered to Michael Childress of Brazil.

Deputy Brian Helmer estimated damage at $2,501-$5,000.

• At 2:10 p.m. on Sunday, Jannetta C. Wolfe, 50, Cloverdale, was northbound on U.S. 231 in a 2005 Cadillac DeVille when a large piece of furniture fell into her path.

Wolfe told Capt. Tom Helmer she could not avoid the collision.

Bryan L. Archer, 32, Cloverdale, was the driver of the 2006 Ford F150 pulling the trailer from which the furniture fell. He told Helmer he had used the piece of furniture to weigh down other items on the trailer but did not secure the item itself.

Damage was estimated at $1,001-$2,500.`
