Zumba Kids

Friday, March 23, 2018
Despite Zumba instructor Tawni Harris energetically leading the way, youngsters in the Putnam County Museum Kids Club seem to be making up their own exercise dance routine during a recent session of the Kids Club, which meets the third Saturday of each month at the museum in Greencastle. The next session on April 21 might produce some impromptu moves of its own as it features an 11 a.m.-1 p.m. visit from Snakehead Ed (aka Ed Ferrer of Brownsburg) who plans to bring along some friends, including an albino snake and palm-size tarantulas. Kids Club is open to all Putnam County youngsters. Harris, meanwhile, teaches Zumba at the museum each Monday and Friday from 9:15-10:30 a.m. with a little yoga routine at the end of each session.
