Lynn Winkler

Lynn Winkler, 71, of Reelsville, passed away at home, surrounded by her family, on Monday, March 26, 2018 following a battle with cancer.

She was born on March 21, 1947 in Greencastle, the daughter of Marion and Juanita (Tharp) Goodman.

She graduated from Greencastle High School with the class of 1965.

Following high school she began working for P.R. Mallory’s. She worked there as a production worker until she retired in 2003.

Lynn married Jerry Winkler on June 1, 1988.

Lynn enjoyed watching Indiana Pacers basketball, Western movies, reading Western books, traveling, playing slot machines, and most of all spending time with her family.

Lynn was preceded in death by her father, Marion Goodman; her grandson, Hunter Winkler; and a great-granddaughter, Faith.

She leaves behind her husband, Jerry Winkler of Reelsville; children David Alspaugh and wife Heidi, David Winkler and wife Susan, Jerry Winkler and wife Venice, Anji Taylor and husband Jim; grandchildren Andrew Alspaugh, Tyler Alspaugh, Dani Alspaugh, Shelby Alspaugh, David Winkler, Logan Winkler, Brandy Cofer, Heather Winkler, Haley Winkler, Markie Hoffman and Morgan Sellars; 13 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Gary Goodman and wife Beth and Larry Goodman and wife Carmen; a sister, Vickie Smith and husband Dan, as well as many extended family members and friends.

Graveside services will be conducted at Kaelber Cemetery, on State Road 42 in Brazil on Friday, March 30 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Patrick Smith officiating.
