Judson University Choir returning to Russellville for Saturday performance
RUSSELLVILLE -- On Saturday, April 7, the Judson University Choir will be returning to the Russellville Community Church along with the Rev. Huntley Brown for a 6 p.m. performance.
The Judson University Choir is a worship-leading ensemble, whose concerts follow a biblically inspired format, provide opportunities for congregational participation and utilizes a wide variety of instrumental accompaniment. The Fruit of the Spirit and “The Big Story” of creation-fall-redemption-consummation serve as a framework for the congregational worship experience.
Rev. Brown is an internationally known concert pianist who has performed with many well-known ministries, including the Billy Graham Association. Huntley’s music ministry has taken him all over the world, with TV, radio and concert appearances.
There will be a free-will offering taken during the performance to support the choir’s ministry and CDs will be available to purchase.
The Russellville Community Center will also be serving a buffet dinner prior to the concert from 4-7 p.m. The buffet includes boneless pork loin with mashed potatoes, gravy, buttered corn, green beans, tossed salad, applesauce, rolls and butter, a variety of desserts and drinks. Cost of the meal is a free will donation to help with expenses at the community center.
The public is invited to both events, one at the church and the other at the community center.
