Just after 3 p.m. Tuesday, State Police and Putnam County emergency agencies responded to the personal injury accident on County Road 300 West near County Road 550 South, west of Putnamville at the Warren-Washington township line.

Preliminary investigation revealed a 2007 Volvo, driven by 21-year-old Hunter W. Sego, of Madison, was northbound on CR 300 West and failed to negotiate a curve near CR 550 South, Indiana State Police at Putnamville reported.

The Volvo reportedly left the wet roadway and rolled over two times before coming to rest.

Sego, who is a kicker for the DePauw University football team, and his passenger, 20-year-old Andrudah Satishchandra, of Greencastle, were transported to Terre Haute Regional Hospital for treatment of what is believed to be minor injuries. Seatbelts and air bags were in use, which resulted in less severe injuries or death, State Police said.

The accident was investigated by ISP Senior Trooper Ryan Winters. Assisting at the scene were personnel from the Putnam County Sheriff's Office, Putnam County Operation Life and Reelsville Fire/Rescue.
