Delores Ann 'Dodie' Thompson

Delores Ann (Bridges) Thompson, 87, of Roachdale, passed away surrounded by her family Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at Hendricks Regional Health.

She was born on March 29, 1931 in Waveland to the late Jon William and Florence May (Scott) Bridges.

She graduated from Roachdale High School with the Class of 1949.

Dodie worked for Eli Lilly, where she met Darrell. After marrying him on May 3, 1954, they moved back to Roachdale where she lived the rest of her life.

She enjoyed being a homemaker, raising her family. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Sherry (Bill) Berry, Roachdale; four grandchildren, Shawn (Nikki) Berry, Natalie Rinehart, Jordan Berry and fiancee, Ashley Garriott and Brad (Kathy) Batman, nine great-grandchildren; sister Peat Wendling, Roachdale; two nieces, two nephews, several great-nieces and great-nephews; and three sisters-in-law, Sharon Rathjen, Lori Thompson and Connie Inman.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Darrell and daughter Deborah Batman.
