Candidate bios due by Monday
With the Tuesday, May 8 primary election quickly approaching, the deadline also nears for submitting candidate bios for publication the Banner Graphic.
Each candidate for county or town office in the 2018 primary -- including township trustee and advisory board -- is eligible to submit a story for publication between now and the primary.
Deadline for submitting such articles will be Monday, April 16 (the deadline has been extended from an original April 13 date).
Candidates must limit the length of their submission to 500 words. As always, we reserve the right to edit all stories for style, clarity and accuracy.
Candidate stories can be emailed (the preferred method) to the Banner Graphic at firstname.lastname@example.org or mailed to Banner Graphic, P.O. Box 509, Greencastle, IN 46135. They can also be hand-delivered to the office at 100 N. Jackson St.
A color headshot photograph should be provided with the written submission.
Plans are to publish all articles submitted by candidates by the Friday, April 27 edition of the newspaper. For candidates in the primary election, no separate candidate stories will be run after that date.
