SPORTS BRIEFS: Tiger Cubs set volleyball camp

The Greencastle volleyball program will be hosting a camp this summer for any girl entering grades 3-8 this fall from June 4-6.

The camp will be run by high school coaches Maggie Walters and Denise Meyer. The junior varsity and varsity volleyball players will also be assisting and coaching.

The price of the camp will be $60. Each camper will need to pay cash or check (make checks out to Greencastle Volleyball) prior to or on the first day of camp in order to participate.

The camp includes volleyball skills instruction and a camp T-shirt. Campers that sign up the day of camp will not receive a t-shirt (orders will already be done).

Forms are available at Greencastle Middle School and all elementary schools.

For lunch, the campers will be escorted to the high school for free lunch in the cafeteria. Campers may also bring their own lunches.

Campers will need to wear some sort of workout shorts, shirt, and tennis shoes. Knee pads and water bottles are highly recommended.

Check-in will begin at 8 a.m. on June 4 at Greencastle High School in the McAnally Center.

June 4

• 8:00-8:30 a.m. — Check-in

• 8:30-10:30 a.m. — Skills instruction

• 10:30 a.m.-12 p.m. — Break/lunch

• 12-2:00 p.m.- Game simulations/scrimmage

June 5-6

• 8:30-10:30 a.m. — Skills instruction

• 10:30 a.m.-1 p.m. — Break/lunch

• 12-2:00 p.m. — Game simulations/scrimmage
