Friends of Forest Hill to hold inaugural 5K Fun Run/Walk

The Friends of Forest Hill Cemetery have announced their inaugural 5K Fun Run and Walk.

It will take place at Forest Hill Cemetery on Memorial Day, May 28. This will be a non-competitive, family-friendly event.

The run will start at 8 a.m., with registration beginning at 7. The memorial service will begin at 10.

Runners and walkers are asked to make a free-will donation on the morning of the event in order to participate. All proceeds will be used to beautify and maintain the veterans’ section of Forest Hill Cemetery.

T-shirts will also be available for purchase at the event.
