Kapatti 'Katie' Elizabeth Ingram-Thompson

Kapatti "Katie" Elizabeth Ingram-Thompson, 42, of Greencastle, passed away on Tuesday, April 24, 2018, at Hendricks Regional Hospital.

Katie was born in Greenfield on July 3, 1975, the daughter of Herman Eugene and Julia Elizabeth (Davidson) Ingram,.

She was a 1993 graduate of Greenfield Central High School.

Katie loved to read her Bible and enjoyed art; she loved to paint and work in her garden.

Survivors include her husband, David Thompson; three daughters, Mickenzie Kean (fiancée Ben Beck), Kayce Kean and Jaylyne Hayes, all of Greencastle; her father; her stepmother, Sue Ingram; two sisters, Karri Ingram-Stewart (husband Rick), Greencastle, and Wendie Ingram--Clements (husband Bill), Greencastle; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother and a sister, Regenia Ingram.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 29 at the Greencastle Elks Lodge, 202 S. Indiana St., with her nephew, Nicholas Hofer, officiating. Friends may arrive at the lodge at 1:00 p.m. There will be a time of fellowship after the service. At her request cremation will take place at a later date.
