Heinz H. Minartz

Heinz H. Minartz, 81, of Brazil, Ind., passed away on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at the Cloverleaf Health Care Center in Knightsville.

Heinz was born in Germany on Nov. 6, 1939.

He was a self-employed handyman and worked in the coal mines in Germany before coming to the United States.

He was of the Pentecostal faith.

Heinz was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister.

Heinz is survived by his wife of 18 and a half years, Bernice (Prince) Minartz; sons Joseph Minartz, Willie Minartz and Doug Pottorff; and a granddaughter, Rain Minartz.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, May 11 at Chandler Funeral Home in Ellettsville.

Burial will be at Clover Hill Cemetery in Harrodsburg.

Calling for Heinz is from 11 a.m. until time of services on Friday at the funeral home.
