For displaying accountability, Greencastle High School students Quintin Bartley and Ashley Byrer are the Character Education Program winners for April at GHS. Bartley and Byrer were among 21 Student Star candidates nominated for the monthly honor by GHS teachers and staff. Presenting them with $25 checks for demonstrating to the rest of the student body -- through their words and actions -- what accountability means are GHS Assistant Principal Jennifer Finnerty (left) and Character Education Program co-sponsor Lisa Duggan. The $25 monthly award is funded by Balfour, which provides graduation items, including caps and gowns, to GHS.
