County Jail

Two people were booked in the Putnam County Jail on Thursday.

• At 9:30 p.m. Isabella Grace Brown, 19, Greencastle, was lodged at the jail for criminal mischief.

• At 8:25 a.m. William Anthony Holland, 36, Stilesville, was booked in on a local warrant.

City Police

One recent arrest was reported by Greencastle City Police officers.

• At 6:05 p.m. Thursday, Timothy Lee Cheatham, 23, Greencastle, was arrested by Officer Alec Pettit.

Cheatham was taken into custody at College and Shadowlawn avenues on a Putnam County warrant for two counts of criminal mischief.

He was lodged in the Putnam County Jail.

Sheriff’s Department

Putnam County sheriff’s deputies investigated one recent property-damage crash.

• At 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, Stephen M. Dunn, 63, Rockville, was westbound on U.S. 36, just east of County Road 700 West, in a 2007 Chevrolet Uplander.

Dunn told Deputy Brian Helmer he had been having some medical issues recently and believes he may have fallen asleep.

The van left the road and hit a guardrail.

Dunn was treated at the scene by Operation Life but signed a statement of release.

The van was towed. Damage was estimated at $10,000-$25,000.
