TENNIS SINGLES SECTIONAL: Cub doubles team remains alive

CRAWFORDSVILLE — Greencastle’s No. 1 doubles team of Nicole Newgent and Molly Ramey defeated Esther Bridwell and Shiley Claypool of Covington 6-4, 6-1 on Tuesday evening in the sectional individual girls’ tennis tournament.

Newgent and Ramey will meet a duo from Fountain Central at 5 p.m. today for the regional title.
