Cloverdale Church of Christ

With a theme of “Excavate: Discovering the Treasures of Jesus,” Cloverdale Church of Christ will host vacation Bible school from Sunday, June 3 through Thursday, June 7.

VBS will run from 6-8 p.m. each evening.

The VBS theme verse tells us, “For the Lord does not see as man sees: For man looks at the outward appearance but the Lord looks at the heart” (1 Samuel 16:7).

This acrchaeological excursion will take the students into a deep study of what makes them truly valuable. In the same way, archeaologists look for valuable treasures that others have left behind, often hidden under layers of debris and dirt.

Though much of the world sees only a pile of debris and dirt, archeaologists have the ability to look deeper, knowing that something better is hidden beneath. Thus they dig to uncover hidden treasures for everyone to see.

Bible classes for all ages, including adults, will be available. All area children and adults are encouraged to take advantage of this time to study God’s word. Materials are free and there will be no collections.
