Michael 'Mike' Gene Cloncs

Michael "Mike" Gene Cloncs, 55, of Crawfordsville, passed away on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at Franciscan St. Elizabeth in Crawfordsville.

He was born Oct. 26, 1962 in Indianapolis to the late Donald and Shirley (Oakes) Cloncs.

On May 21, 2008 he married Paula (Browning) Cloncs in Greencastle. She survives.

Mike graduated from North Putnam High School with the class of 1981.

He proudly served our country in the United States Army. He then worked as a fiber optics installer for many years.

He was baptized at Roachdale Baptist Church.

He enjoyed outside flowers, being outdoors, sitting on his porch swing and people watching, and spending time with his family and friends. He loved being with people and making them laugh.

He is survived by his wife, Paula; children Kellie Michelle Cloncs, Crawfordsville, Michael (Meghan) Cloncs, Waynetown, Bradley (Melissa) Cloncs, Clarksville, Tenn., and April Dawn Cloncs, Crawfordsville, stepchildren, Mikey (Miranda) Davis, Roachdale, Krystal Norman, Crawfordsville, and Bodhi Allen, Crawfordsville; 14 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; siblings Paula (Dennis) Furr, Crawfordsville, Donald Cloncs II, Cloverdale, and Lynda Albright, Crawfordsville; stepmother Carolyn Cloncs, Roachdale; Uncle Herbie and Aunt Marcia Cloncs, Roachdale, and many beloved nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends are invited for a time of visitation with the family from 5-7 p.m. Friday, June 1 at Servies and Morgan Funeral Home, 102 E. Washington St., Roachdale. Military honors will follow at the funeral home at 7 p.m.
