Extension Office to host Mini Day Camps

Friday, June 1, 2018

School is officially out, so it is time to let the summer fun begin. Purdue Extension will be hosting two Agriculture and Natural Resource Mini Day Camps for first grade through fourth grade youth as of Jan. 1, 2018.

The Mini Day Camps will be conducted from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Community Building at the Putnam County Fairgrounds. Cost of the camp is $10 per day and lunch will be provided.

Space is limited to the first 12 participants, so early sign-up is urged.

The days are as follows:

June 26 -- Natural Resource Day

• Activities will involve learning about soil, water- and trees.

July 6 -- How Does It Grow?

• Activities will involve learning how plants and insects grow.

Individuals are welcome to attend one single day or both days. A registration form can be found on the Purdue Extension – Putnam County website. Registration and payment are due by June 20 to the Purdue Extension Putnam County Office.
