ParkFest opens Tuesday with Gehm, Rolle/St. Pierre Band

Friday, June 1, 2018

The 25th season of the Greencastle Civic League’s ParkFest opens Tuesday, June 5.

The first concert, featuring Steve Gehm as well as the Rolle/St. Pierre Band, will run from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Bowman Park on the DePauw University campus.

Co-sponsored by the Greencastle Parks Department, ParkFest is normally a Robe-Ann Park event, but the series will begin at Bowman Park as construction crews finish the new Robe-Ann Bandshell.

Steve Gehm likes to play love songs as well as a couple of originals and is a storyteller at heart.

The Rolle/St. Pierre Band touts itself as an Indiana rock and blues band. Featuring the guitar prowess of Mike Rolle and Steve St. Pierre, Craig Martindale and David Eising provide a solid backbone of rock.

On Tuesday, June 12, ParkFest will continue when the Civic League welcomes Brandon Tinkler and Gus Moon.

Bronze level sponsors for ParkFest 2018 include Almost Home, BPO Elks 1077, Cash Concrete, Concepts the Cabinet Shop, Dale W. Oliver DDS, Dever Distributing Company/Budweiser, ETA International, Greencastle Pediatric Dentistry, Headley Hardware, Hendricks Power, HMSB Insurance, Greencastle Rotary Club and Subway (Estep and Company).
